This vest has been great when I'm climbing on cold and/or windy days. The rock doesn't tear it up and chalk washes right out. It's a little long over my harness, but folds over well enough for me to reach my gear. And it was great for traveling in; a lightweight, comfortable extra layer that kept me warm.

Very square, no shape to this vest at all. Also, in black, shows every speck of lint. Picks up more lint than a lint brush.

This vest has a nice cut and nice features (eg: inside napoleon pocket) and I love that it is windproof. It could be the perfect thing, but unfortunately the armholes are cut way too tight. I guess it does say on the tag that it is for wearing over a light layer but that doesn't make it a very useful garment. I want to be able to layer it over a mid weight fleece zip T (for skiing or cold weather hiking) and that isn't possible. I am going to see if I can have it altered, otherwise, I'll have to return it.
