These are a good alternative to plastic disposable cutlery, since they are disposable. they don't stand up to long term use, or high temperatures. don't expect to be able to stir the boiling soup and not have the spoon. These are meant to be disposable and I felt they lasted as long as I would expect. I would personally spend the money on a reusable spoork instead.
