Started an AT thu using a filter and switched over to save weight. Used for over two months and never got sick. Cant beat it for weight and function.

This is the best chemical treatment system I've ever used. There is zero residual flavor. Just good pure water. The only down side is that you aren't filtering, which can make things difficult when it comes to murky water sources. The weight savings over a pump filter more than compensate, however.

Worth it's (almost no) weight!!!

I have been using filters for years and have switched exclusively to this product for the past 3. Very simple to use and I have never encountered any problems with the water I drank. No smell and it tastes good. (let murky water settle first)
