Great for when you run out of space on a harness. A bit small. Probably better to use a sling if you are taking a bigger climb.

restricts my main gear sling. I like to move my main gear sling around while I am climbing and finding whatever item it is that I am looking for. Attaching this item to it. Prevents me from moving my main gear sling around.

For [$] this is worth it to have a little extra space on your rack but it fits a little strange. I couldn't find any directions as to how this piece is supposed to be attached to the main sling and the problem is that on one end there is just a sewn loop so I just girth hitched it to one of the little loops on the shoulder strap, this doesn't seam right as it moves the loop pretty far back and it isn't as accessible as I expected. The metal clip on the other end works great though and it is easy to attach and detach with no fear of it coming undone accidentally.Overall I'm happy with it but I need to figure out a better way to attach it. These should just come standard on the Metolious gear slings with the option to detach it if you didn't want it.
