Comments about Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Gloves:

These have been my preferred liner for winter mountaineering after many years of trying and experimenting with many different products. These gloves regulate sweat better than any I have ever owned. They dry quickly either on your hands or in a sleeping bag. As they will stretch out over the first few weeks, the fit starts tight and ends up perfectly conformed to your hand. This and the absence of "grip" allows them to slide easily under another pair of gloves or an overmitt. They are thin enough not to adversely diminish your manual dexterity, so you can still tie knots without taking them off, but thick enough to really add some extra warmth on cold days and allow you to handle frigid fuel bottles without getting cold fingers.

After a few months of use, the fabric will pill up, and the wind cuts through them like a hot knife through butter. Still, I have not found anything out there that is better as a pure liner. In fact, I liked them so much, I bought a second pair.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Gloves:

I picked these gloves up a few weeks ago once the fall weather started rolling in. They are great for cool/cold weather aerobic activities like running and cross country skiing. They are perfect weight for running gloves with a nice tight fit and they work pretty well around town because I don’t need a ski glove when I’m driving. The only beef I have is the clip that holds them together when your not using them itches my hand a little so I flipped them inside out and trimmed the fabric off.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Gloves:

I get a new pair of these every year because they wear out, but they wear out because they're so useful. I carry a pair of these in my pocket during cold weather hiking and backcountry skiing trips. When I have to take off my warm gloves to do things that require manual dexterity, I pop these on so I don't lose all the heat in my hands. In warmer weather (10-30 degrees) they work great on their own.
