I bought this bag to keep my pair of Petzl Vasaks in when they aren't on my feet. The crampons fit fine, but it did take a couple minutes to figure out how to stack them and fold the bindings just right so they would fit nicely. Once you figure it out, it only takes a minute to stuff them inside. Seems to be a pretty good product.

Too small for rigid crampons

The Fakir bag is too small to accommodate a pair of DMM Terminator crampons set up for a size 8 boot! The bag is too short (long axis). The problem would be even worse for someone with a bigger boot. Only if you disassemble the crampons can you make them fit in the Fakir. Poor design!

Geat stuff. I could see the thick rubber being penetrated by the crampons spikes durring travel over time, but better than I expected though.
