Comments about Outdoor Research Peruvian Hat - Men's:

This is a great hat for the price, similar to the MH Dome Perignon Hat but with a strap to keep it on your head in very windy conditions. Since I bought the hat we have had almost a foot and a half of snow where I live and this thing has kept me warm through it all. The exterior sheds snow well, and when I get too hot I don't have to put it in my pocket I can just pull it off and let it hang off my neck from the strap. My only problems with it are the device that OR has chosen to use to cinch down the strap with is a little small and hard to operate with mittens on, and there is nothing to keep it from coming completely off. The solution to the second problem is to tie a not at the end of the cord. Overall I am very happy with the hat.
