Description:
Built from a rugged yet soft nylon fabric with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish, Mountain Hardwear's Matterhorn pant puts up with miles of abuse while keeping your legs in comfort. A flat integrated adjustable belt doesn't interfere with a heavy pack, inner reinforcements at the seat and knees scoff at abrasive surfaces, a gusseted inseam prevents blown seams, and the zip-off legs (with zippered lower-leg side seams) converts easily to shorts.
Features:
- UPF rating of 50 protects skin from harsh UV rays
- Attack melting glaciers or snow - the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish helps water bead up and roll off
- Cinch into the perfect fit without chafing your waist - the inner micro-chamois lined waist with belt loops treats your skin well
- Reinforced seat and knees and draw-string closure at the ankle ensure worry-free durability through the backcountry
- Should it start to warm up, quickly convert to shorts with the zip-off the pant legs
- Gusseted inseam eliminates uncomfortable and bulky seams through the crotch and ensures ease of movement
- Store important items, such as your trail map and compass, in the 2 front hand pockets and 2 rear flap pockets
- Semi-fitted for multi-day comfort
