I've learned to remove the cover gently to keep from damaging it. The o-ring is very delicte.
All I needed was the cover and o-ring, so the extra battery is a bonus.

I cannot tell you how happy I was to see not only the battery cover in this kit but also the O ring- wow! My O ring had given out and turned my multi-hundred dollar watch into garbage. A random scan [...]revealed this idiot proof kit. Out of power? Need a new cover since you have shredded yours with various coins? Want a new rubber O ring to seal out the elements? Buy this now.
