I absolutely love it. The dog ears allow you to tie yourself off only using one hand, great feature. The 8 also has a belay device that most people don't realize, so when you get off the rope you can be the switch right to the belay. The only con(not a issue for me) is that after heavy use the rope will rub the paint off. I think it gives it that worn look, and besides, all 8 rings do that so who cares. Thanks
