I have had this jacket for 4 years and it still looks and preforms like the first day I wore it backcountry skiing. I use it for downhill, backcountry, classic crosscountry skiing, and as a lightweight breathable rain jacket. It is very breathable with many pockets and zippers for venting. It is more like a shell that needs layers of warmth underneath. This is perfect for the changing Colorado conditiond. I love this jacket. It cost a lot, but is worth every penny.

I bought this jacket 7 years ago for a lightweight backcountry ski outer layer. I wanted a jacket that fit well with underlayers, wasn't bulky, and was waterproof and breatheable for the sometimes damp snow in our region. I also needed it to transfer well to lift service skiing. This has been the best coat I've ever owned for it's versatility, function and durability. I use this coat 50+ days a season strictly for skiing and it has performed perfectly. It fits well in my ski pack for non snowy days. The hood has great adjustability for stormy days or cold chair lift rides. Good pockets, zippers and venting. It also looks great on. In 7 years of heavy use I've only had to replace the velcro at the wrist, and still get complements on the great style of this jacket.
