My husband has a closet full of zip necks: this one is warmer, sturdier, nicer looking. He's been wearing it fall-winter-spring for the past year, and it still looks like the day he unwrapped it. And he hates sweaters, doing an Eyore voice-over when he gets one....

I own three of these and have been very happy with all of them. Very versatile pullover - looks good enough for me to wear to the office or out for a casual dinner, but also a good layer to put on after reaching the summit. Good for cool temps but not cold. With a shell, good to about low 40's, high 30's. If there's a knock, it's that they are better looking than many midweight layers I have so I tend not to use they for outdoor activities, but save them for casual wear/office/dinner.
