Despite my warnings about other users comments, my husband insisted that we get the medium. Not surprisingly, it's too small, but no big deal. It's lightweight and we're still climbing small stuff anyway. On the positive side, it's perfect for my 4 year old and will be for years.

Fine bag, the large will take an unbroken 2 oz chalk cube, the medium won't without breaking it up first
