Bought the Gamma MX for my wife about 2 years ago and she's worn it for over half of each of those years. The jacket has performed well in spring, autumn, and the milder parts of winter. It cuts the wind and is fitted enough for her to have on up to 2 merino layers underneath for when it's a bit chilly. The face of the Gamma MX also is very water repellent. She can cram plenty into the two breast pockets thereby keeping the cozy hand-warmer pockets free for their intended use. The cut of the arms makes it so if she were climbing around/raising her arms a lot the jacket doesn't shift. All in all a great 2+ season jacket!

From spring backcountry touring in France to cat skiing in BC Canada and resort skiing in Montana, this jacket has been my stand by for the last 10 years. It's perfect on its own for warmer days and layers great under a shell when the temps drop below zero. The DWR coating sheds light rain and snow, making it ideal for all-season wear. Bottom line...get one, you won't be disappointed!

Arc'teryx does it again: top of the class style, top of the class performance, top of the class workmanship. This is a classic by them. I use mine 365 days a year. In the winter it works well as an extra layer and for indoor use. The cut is beautiful and looks great on EVERYONE I've ever seen it on. Feels like another skin. Not bulky. Not loose. But not skin tight either. Breathes well and looks great. Perfect.
