This bag is nice execution of a clean lean design - would you expect anything else from ArcTeryx? It's the only rope bag I know of that packages up your rope in a tight and packable size and shape. It tucks into a pack snugly without wasting space. Sweet. Shoulder strap is a little lightweight, could be better with 2 for backpack carry.

Great bag fits in the bottom of my Miura 30liter very well, I have used it with multiple ropes in many areas and it always helps me move seamlessly from climb to climb.

The clever top closure really makes for easy packing and unloading of your rope. Just shove it (coil it nicely) in or flip it over and dump it out. The ability of the bag to stand upright while in use is nice too.
