First off, I love the material used for the Rho AR. It's soft, light, warm, breathable, and comfortable.

I find the fit to be just right for a baselayer. At 6 feet 165 pounds the medium AR top is snug and maybe a tad short but nothing of major concern. I have it in both large and medium. The large still fits me fairly well after losing 40 pounds, it just has a more casual look (like a sweatshirt) and the medium is great when I need to wear a lot of layers.

I use this top in conjunction with Arc'teryx's wool Rho tops, Hercules and my Theta SV jacket and haven't been cold yet during winter. On cool days I find that a wool base layer, the Rho AR top and a shell are more than enough. If it get's to be cold I'll switch out the rho AR top with the Hercules. When it's really cold I'll wear everything. My point is it's very handy and you'll find a use for this great top.

The top has a handy zip pocket which is good for storing small items. When I was traveling through Scotland I found this top to be very helpful. I wish passports were a little bit smaller so I could fit it in this pocket!

In addition to wearing it during my hikes in Scotland, I use it for running as well. I find it breathable enough for a good workout. The material wicks away the moisture well and it doesn't get soaked. This is great since it means it will dry quickly and you can wear it the next day (it doesn't get smelly either).

I plan on buying more of these, I just wish they had more colors. Other than that, I HIGHLY recommend this product.

I used this product for my last ski trip to Breckenridge. Pulling on this baselayer feels like wrapping yourself in a warm bundle of fleece. I wore just this baselayer and an Arcteryx Beta AR jacket and I stayed warm the entire trip.

This is a baselayer, so it has a nice snug feel to it. I am 5'10" 160lbs and a Medium fit me very well.
