Product Details
Description:
Forget the bitter, acidic coffee you're used to drinking from a standard coffee press. The AeroPress from Aerobie takes only 30 seconds, but makes the smoothest, best-tasting coffee that coffeereview.com, Sunset Magazine, Vogue Magazine, Cooks Junction, and you, have ever tasted.

Features:

  • Total immersion of the grounds in the water results in rapid yet robust extraction of flavor
  • Total immersion permits extraction at a moderate temperature, resulting in a smoother brew
  • Air pressure shortens filtering time to 20 seconds. This avoids the bitterness of long processes such as drip brewing
  • Laboratory pH testing measured Aeropress brew's acid as less than one fifth that of regular drip brew
  • Microfilter prevents the gritty texture of French-press methods
  • Makes 1 to 4 cups (1 or 2 mugs) of coffee or espresso

Specifications:

  • Weight: 1 pound
  • Dimensions: 5 x 5 x 11.5 inches

Glass mug not included.

Best coffee ever! It actually tastes like coffee smells when it's brewing. For all you users: watch that water temperature for the best coffee possible.
Yummy! And so easy, even a caveman could do it!

Comments about Aerobie, Inc. AeroPress Coffee Maker:

If I were forced to use only one coffee maker for the rest of my life, this would be it. It makes great-tasting coffee, both espresso and americano, and it's super easy to use. Simply load a filter and coffee, boil water, stir, press, and pour. The most time-consuming part is the boiling of the water. My only gripe would be that it takes special filters - I wish there was a reusable filter option - and I hope they don't quit making these for a while because it wouldn't be fun to make your own filters (although, you could do it by cutting down bigger filters to fit). But it's bomb-proof, and I don't see it breaking any time soon.

Comments about Aerobie, Inc. AeroPress Coffee Maker:

A friend recommended this rather than using the french press insert for our jetboil (since it dirties the pot). We were impressed. The coffee was great and we had no grounds at all. Perfect for backpacking.

Comments about Aerobie, Inc. AeroPress Coffee Maker:

Used at home. Easy and fast. Personally I make a stronger brew by passing more H2O through the filter. I like using the same filter over again. I prefer trees to coffee filters.

Comments about Aerobie, Inc. AeroPress Coffee Maker:

I'm a minimalist, but this is a must have for coffee lovers. This brews the best cup of coffee. I use it outdoors, at home, at work. It cleans up quick, it's not messy to clean up like a French press. It makes a better cup of Americano Style coffee than most corporate coffee shops popping up everywhere.Unless you want to spend [$] on a good espresso maker, you can't beat the quality of this little thing.

Comments about Aerobie, Inc. AeroPress Coffee Maker:

The aero-press is easy to use and even easier to clean up. Boil water put in the grounds push hot water through grounds with plunger into cup. You get a nice coffee concentrate for espresso or dilute it down for americano.

I have tried coffee extract in little packets, instant coffee, tea infusers and even a percolator. The Aeropress is the best cup of coffee for the weight of the device.

You have to make sure to use a cup wide enough and stable enough for the aero-press. Your reward for carrying the aero-press on a trip is the smoothest easiest to drink cup of coffee. Enjoy the sunrise over that mountain vista. Did I mention cleanup is a breeze? Remove the end cap and push the plunger to clear out all of the grounds.
