- Lightest & most compact (recommended only for skis with less than 20 mm sidecut): size approximately 5 mm (no more than 10 mm) narrower than width of the ski waist; no trimming necessary - just center them on the ski
- Best of both worlds: choose a skin about 10 mm narrower than the tip for skis with less than 20 mm sidecut, about 15 mm narrower for skis with 20 – 30 mm sidecut, about 20 mm narrower for skis with more than 30 mm sidecut. Then just trim them to fit with included trim tool.
