great crampon!! I used it from mountaineering in ecuador on some volcanoes. They worked well didn't have to adjust them at all.

Fits OK, Works well on Icy Slope

I use these for cutting invasive shrubs and trees for The Nature Conservancy on icy, steep slopes. Using a chain saw is a lot safer if you have steady footing. I can also move up and down the slope to pile the brush. I like the way they grip but they tend to loosen up. There is nothing in the instructions about a quick-adjust strap system.

Used these crampons on Mt. Rainier with my Koflach Degre boots. Easy to put on and only came loose towards the end of the climb, but easy to adjust. A little on the heavier side, but other than that a great crampon to use on moderate mountain routes.

Used these for a late spring/early summer hike up Cashmere Mountain (8501 ft). They were good when crossing the boulder fields and excellent on the final ascent in deep, compact snow.
