Good, but tight

I have a pair of G12 step-ins, and had to solve the puzzle of finding the right configuration to make them both fit into the bag. Once you get it they fit fine, but it would be nice to have a little more length so that I could just throw them in and go.

The crampon bag from Black Diamond is exactly what I was looking for. It is perfect for storing your crampons while not in use, yet it is not too bulky in my pack or strapped to the outside of it. The design of the bag is well thought out: stretchy open mesh on the top and tough puncture proof nylon canvas on the bottom. It also has a little daisy chain on the back for clipping on a biner and attaching to your pack. I use Grivel G12 crampons and, they fit perfectly. Great little piece of gear!
