Evolve's new boot is worth checking out

I'm pleased with this purchase, sizing does feel a little on the big size, but I didn't try one size smaller (would be an idea to try the sizing out in a shop before ordering). I can live with it though as it's not that bad.

The boot is nicely put together and comfortable, but is a bit stiff and could be lighter. I want to use it as an urban hiker or for short day hikes and I think it'll be good for that. The benchmark for me for these purposes was a pair of Nike AVG "boots" that were incredibly comfortable and light that I bought in Chile a few years ago and have never been able to find since.

The Evolve boots are a good deal at the price and I think the quality good, they're not for everyday use as I was hoping, but are great for hiking.

These are comfortable right out of the box, they are a half size too big so order a 1/2 size smaller than you usually wear - even with thicker socks. The pictures makes these look yellow - they're really tan with yellow accents. Nice laces stay tied. My only complaint is the soles on these are very hard - they may wear well, too early to tell, but they are noisy on hard wood floors indoors

This is a good shoe for traveling, but not for wearing around the house since the soles tend to mark up the floor (with black rubber). It's also definitely more of a boot than a shoe, but that's okay since that's what they call it, after all. It's a great shoe/boot for day hikes.

The shoe seems to run almost a half size large and there is heel movement even when tied tight. However, I wore a pair of thick socks yesterday and the movement was not as bad. I've not had them long enough to experience any breakdown of sole, etc. Overall, I would not pay the full retail price for the shoe, but am satisfied with the purchase at the sale price.

Very Comfortable, Very Warm, The color is more of a beige than a yellow so it is attractive. Seems like it may require a little break-in period, but it is not too stiff straight out of the box.

I spent all week hiking to and from the crags in these boots and they are awesome. Super comfortable, great traction and quick to lace up and take on and off. They also look great, more of a tan color than the bright yellow seen in the picture. They also broke in quickly after wearing them around the house for a few days.

I had to get a half size smaller than what I usually wear.

Great product at a great price.
