Comments about Outdoor Research AirMat 7.5 Pump Sleeping Pad:

Backpack up into the mountains of Colorado to flyfish every year; weight is extremely important so to find a mat that provides extreme comfort without adding much weight is a bonus.

Comments about Outdoor Research AirMat 7.5 Pump Sleeping Pad:

The best thing about this mat is the width. I used to struggle with the standard version and I'm not a big guy (5'4"). The DLX mat is 26" wide and it's surprising how much those few extra inches help. I will relegate the standard mat to gear for the kids. I wouldn't call it a cinch to inflate but I prefer it to blowing up by mouth. It's also a good bit larger to pack. The stuff size seems to be close to double that of the standard pad. Taking weight out of the equation (since I camp with my motorcycle), the DLX pad suits my needs very adequately.

Comments about Outdoor Research AirMat 7.5 Pump Sleeping Pad:

It took me just a few minutes to figure out how to pump up the pad by opening the air intake valve on the pillows. Then you just put one hand on each side of the pillow and alternate pushing down and then letting up.
