I have always shunned outdoor products made specifically for women because they always seem to leave out some detail (or care in design) that was included in the men's version. However, you can find these in my climbing bag that I take to the gym everytime. It's a great all around shoe and very comfortable too.

I have been wearring the LV since it came out 2 years ago, prior to this, I wore the LV's predecessor, the Women's VCS.

My favorite feature on the LV is the low volume, snug heel cup. It never slips, even in the diciest of heel hooks, and it doesn't allow any air or space in the shoe.

The shoe is moderately stiff, which makes edgeing on small, slick holds very easy. I prefer climbing on limestone, which can be very polished, and the LV handles those small, slippery footholds with ease. I also have used it extensively on slick crystaline granite and small sandstone, and again, the LV has successfully tackled the grimest, smallest of nubs with ease.

It has a neutral profile, however, I have used it on steep cave climbs, and it has always served me well.

They do not stretch, but do get more comfortable with use. Depending on how you size them, they can work well for longer multi pitch climbs, but sized snugly, they are a high performance for bouldering and sport routes.

Highly recommended for intermediate to advanced climbers!
