I am an adventure guide. I am on my second pair. I wear these shoes for canyoneering. They are amazing when it comes to sticking to wet or slimy rocks.

Unfortunately, they are extremely uncomfortable to hike to and from the canyons. I get blisters or hot spots every time.

The mesh sides drain nicely but do not hold up to the harsh Arizona terrain.

Currently I recommend them - until something better is created.

Great shoe

I use these for parkour. Parkour is extremely hard on shoes...I've torn up a few pairs of running shoes before buying my savants.

Their traction is AWESOME! They are very stable! They breathe/shed water/dry extremely well!

Despite my following comments, I highly recommend these shoes.

The breatheable material is not as rugged as it should/could be. I've torn a small hole in both shoes at the front outside of the shoe...where my pinkie toe contacts the frontmost section of breatheable material.
There is also a bit of a trade-off regarding the sole's traction vs. longevity. The rubber near the front of the shoe wears faster than rubber used on quality running shoes. I've had these shoes for 6months. I pound on them a few times per week. Despite the small holes in the fabric, there has been no loss in performance.

Overall, these are the best shoes I've had.

i wore these shoes for a week canyoneering in Arizona and they held up unbelievably!! even when wet the shoes stuck to the rock like glue its was amazing. I beat the hell out of these shoes and they stayed together through desert, canyon, water. With tall neoprene booties these shoes are perfect wet canyoneering footwear for under [$]
