Comments about Mammut Ice Axe Spike Guard:

The Ice Axe Spike Guard is a chunk of rubber, nothing to break on it. I have a Black Diamond Raven, it fits OK. You have to lean on the guard to get it to the base of the Spike. It is good insurance on behalf of your sleeping bag while flying or throwing your duffel around.
