Ours doesn't work at all

My wife took the device on a trip to Montana last week, and it didn't work at all: water does not come out of the spout when the bottle is filled, the cap is pulled open, and the bottle squeezed. (It's properly set up.)

It's very fortunate that she didn't need to rely on it for her needs on her hike. I'm very sorry I purchased this expensive unreliable device, and will avoid buying Katadyn products in the future.

I used this filter during hikes in the Virginia Blue Ridge, and now plan to use it overseas it much worse environments. It has worked superbly and adheres to the "keep it simple" principle. It's so easy a 10 year old can use it. As a matter of fact, thats who's useing it now!
