Description:
Walking the line between a climbing boot and approach shoe, La Sportiva's B5 has the stickiness of a climbing shoe with XF rubber in the climbing zone and the traction and stability of a hiking boot with FriXion XT on the bottoms and Impact Brake System lugs in the impact areas. Even with the protective hiking boot feel, you'll still be equipped with a non-intrusive low-profile lacing system and narrow toe box for edging.
Features:
- As you hike in, grip the ground with the FriXion XT outsoles while you protect your knees with the Impact Brake System and AT lugs that cushion each foofall
- When your trail turns vertical, the fully randed, narrow toe box with sticky XF rubber in the climbing zone that allows for technical smearing and edging
- Climb cracks without fear of snagging the low profile lacing system's shoestrings
Specifications:
- Weight per pair (average): 1 lb 10 oz
- Upper: leather/ FriXion rand
- Lining: mesh
- Midsole: Micropore EVA
- Sole: FrIxion XT rubber
