Comments about La Sportiva Batura:

great fitting boot, little extra room in the toes but the rest of the boot is a fairly technical fit. perrty warm, ive got bad circ. but i can use these down to 0 give or take a few degrees. climbs hard ice as good as any boot ive used and rock as good as any single boot. comfy for a full shank boot to hike in, did a 18 mile aproch to one climb no blisters. in the end id say... best ice climbing boot on the market, good alpine rock boot, good alpine big wall boot. only bad part is for multi-day climbs use a vb sock, the boot soaks up sweat and insilation is degraded, not really a problem if its going to be 15 degrees or above

Comments about La Sportiva Batura:

I've had eight days of ice climbing in these boots now. They climb better by far than any other boots I've ever used for ice climbing! They are extremely comfortable! The heel cup really hangs on to the heel, yet the toe box is roomy. The ankle is allowed to move in all directions and yet has some support. They are pretty warm. I am extremely happy with these boots!

Comments about La Sportiva Batura:

...have used them eight days now on ice. In over 30 years of ice climbing, these are far and away the BEST ice climbing boots I've ever used! They protect the ankle and yet let it move almost freely in all directions. The heel cup keeps the heel in place better than any boot I've ever owned, yet the toe box is roomy. They climb well and walk well, and are quite warm. Since they are for the most part synthetic and have an integrated zipper, I still have my concerns as to whether they will hold up to continued abuse....
