I used these in the Alaskan Talkeetna range sheep hunting with three days of break in prior to hunt. 90 miles of hard mountain hiking over primarily large shale for 8 days with heavy loads and no blisters. The flex at ankle in these boots is low. When tightened they are similar to a hard shell. They're tough boots.

I bought this pair to use for wildland fire/helicopter ops. I have only worn them on some hikes to try them out for the upcoming wildland fire reason, but I am very impressed with the comfort right from the get go!

My husband fights fire for the forestry department in rocky conditions and these boots are great they protect and support his feet better then Whites high top boots and he loves them and they were just approved by the be prepared to sell alot more the word is geting out about this great product.
