My first day ski touring with this jacket I had rain, snow, freezing rain, wind gusts up to 30 MPH and was warm, dry and unaffected by the wind. I am on the short and stocky side so I found the sleeves were a little long (about an inch) but most jackets are that way.
Love this thing!

I owned a Mammut Nimba jacket, I love it as it is light and comfortable. My husband wants one too, so I purchased the Mammut Alto jacket for him, Alto is the same like Nimba, the only difference is Nimba is for woman and Alto is for man. My husband has been wearing it everyday, he said it is one of the best jacket he ever owned. The red color is sharp.
Great jacket for both casual and hiking.

Light and comfortable jacket. Inner is fleece insulated. Outer is breathable soft shell. Quality is Mammut standard, great. Breathes very well and deals with wind 100%. There is no feeling that wind is comming thru jacket. I am 183cm and 115cm chest size and L fits great. Best softshell for price...
