Pros:
Adjustable Beam, Bright, Durable, Long battery life
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Go Pack, Mountain living
Describe Yourself:
Casual Adventurer
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Mammut Lucido TR1 Headlamp:

This is lightweight and produces an adequate amount of light to see in dark conditions. It is not a spot light, nor does it light the entire environment, but provides just enough to be usefull

Comments about Mammut Lucido TR1 Headlamp:

I have tried out lots of headlamps for night running, and this one takes the cake. It is super bright and super light. It is better than all the much more expensive ones I've bought in the past. You don't want a focused beam for running, the 4 LEDs are perfect. My only suggestion for a change is to make the on/off button better. It is not usable with gloves on. I don't know yet about battery life -- so we'll see!

Comments about Mammut Lucido TR1 Headlamp:

First time I used it, I was blown away at how well this illuminated the ground. It was brighter than 5 other friends' lights put together. In a camp sight you don't even need to use the brighter setting, the low setting is superb enough. Any other headlamp I've seen or used gives you a bright dot of light, and then the light diffuses out from the center beam. The lenses on the TR1 are much more efficient, giving you a bright light that is consistent throughout it's diameter of coverage. You just can't compare it to any other LED headlamp. I've bought more to give as presents.
