These pants are great for rain. I paired these up with Marmots Oracle rain jacket and it keeps me high and dry. The zippers are nice for easy off, and easy on, but when they are all they unzipped it can get a little confusing figuring out which zipper goes with which leg. I'm the kind of person who loves pockets, these pants have only three and I prefer more. When trying to where pants underneath I find its best to go with something light, like nylon pants or a thing pair of jeans because these pants are a little snug. I also made the mistake of buying mediums and they are stretched out the farthest they can go. If also stuck where there is no wind and high humidity these pants can get pretty warm and sticky, but those full zippers help to open up and move some air.
