I usually wear a 10 or 12, purchased the medium and it was too small, so i returned. Would have been happy with it if I had ordered a large I think. My son had a small mens and I really liked his and it fit good.

I wear it as an everyday coat. Yes, in Austin, I can do that. When it was in the record teens, I worn it with other layers and it kept me quite warm.
I am not sure why others were having sizing issues. It fits me fine?? I was hesitate in buying this fleece because of the sizing issues other had but I am glad I did.

Since this jacket was on sale and I wear fleece year around, I decided to get two -- one in each of two different colors. In the green, the medium fit perfectly. But in blue, the medium was too big. I thought it might be mis-marked, so I exchanged it for a second one but that medium was too big, as well. I then ordered a small, which was little closer fitting than ideal. I should have sent it back, but after all the trips to the post office, I kept it anyway (it works with a relatively thin shirt underneath, but nothing very thick). Otherwise, I really like the jacket. Marmot makes great products.

I wear this jacket when riding my motorcycle in the cooler weather. It fits nicely over a t-shirt or tank top and my leather jacket goes over all this with no problem. The only reason I mentioned the zipper is because I accidentally ruined the one on my last Marmot when it got too close to my hot exhaust when I was removing layers which was my fault really.

I've worn and washed this fleece twice. Its still shedding little bits of fluff everywhere... on my carseat, on my clothes, on my couch. Will it keep doing this until there's nothing left? For being a big name brand, I'm surprised. Although everything else about this fleece is good, because of the shedding, I won't recommend it.

Bought this jacket for my wife. She really likes it, but we needed to exchange the medium-the size she usually wears for a large. The color is nice and the design is attractive. It is mid-October in Seattle and the jacket is perfect for getting to and from the bus stops at this time of year.

This jacket feels warm for cool days and is well-constructed. The fleece is soft and the body fits true to size (though the arm length could be just a tad longer). I read a few reviews that said that the jacket was short, and I would agree with this. I thought these comments might not apply to me because I am only 5'3", but it does hit right about at the hipbone on me. This jacket is great for casual hikes and also walking around the city - very versatile and I'm sure I will get good use out of it!
