This was the third balaclava that I had purchased in the last two years, and the first one that lived up to my demanding expectations. The fit is excellent and it is the only one of the three that doesn't slip below my nose. It remained in place even when breathing hard or trying to yell to a partner over 40+ mph winds in the Adirondack winter at the top of Mt. Marcy!
Very warm and little to no ice/moisture accumulation, even in sub-zero wind chills.

The first time I wore this Balaclava it was 6 degrees and windy, before I slipped it on I was a bit doubtful based on it's lightweight feel. Boy was I surprised, it is extremely warm and windproof, yet extremely breathable. I did not overheat or sweat one bit. I shave my head bald frequently and even on that day with just this balaclava for head protection I was most comfortable. The combination of fabrics are it's strengths, all the right fabrics in all the right places. The cut and fit are also excellent, you will not look silly!

THis is a light, well made, breathable mask that works great with a half helmet while motorcycleing. I love it. Have ridden with it in 18 degree weather at highway speeds.

I have only had to use it once so far, but it more than proved its worth against 50-60mph gusts of extremely cold winds above 10,000'. Front fit down into the neck is great.

I purchased this product to use for winter bike riding. I am pleased with the full face and head protection that the Super Hero offers. I also applaud Marmot's choice to utilize multiple fabric technologies. I would recommend this product to friends. The balaclava is snug fitting but not too tight that it is uncomfortable. My head measures about 23 3/4 inches round. The balaclava fits very nicely under my Giro Animas cycling helmet without bunching up or feeling awkward.
