Weight was listed at 12 oz. Mine weighed considerablly more. My scale goes to about 19 oz. and it was moving fast when it hit bottom. I purchased this as part of developing a lighter load for backpacking. It was not the correct product and was returned. It did seem like a nice jacket, just not what I needed.

This is a very lightweight and reasonably warm jacket. Living in Arizona, the temps don't usually warrant a down jacket, but when I find myself in cold weather this is my go-to jacket. Very warm for it's weight, and it compresses to the size of a grapefruit. At 5'6 180lbs I'm usually right between most companies M and L sizes. I have a muscular build with broad shoulders and the Large fits well (the medium was just too snug across my chest).My only gripe with this jacket is durability. Since the 2nd time I used it, I find little bits of down poking out all over (since my jacket is black, these are pretty easy to see). I'm not sure if this is because of the shell getting little tears or because they opted for weight savings over down-proofness, but it's annoying. I have a similar (albeit heavier) jacket from [...] that does not suffer from this problem.Bottom line: This is a great jacket and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight, reasonably warm down jacket. -1 star for durability.

I like this sweater as a midlayer in very cold conditions. It is not a full-on down parka but compares favorably against the Patagonia Down Sweater, which is a bit lighter in weight and warmth. Marmot does good thing with down and this is no exception. Fit is good with Marmot's signature long arms for good reaching without lifting up the hem.

Returned this product, very little loft and worthless as even an under layer. Not surprising that the amount of fill isn't listed. Could not have been more disappointed with a Marmot product.

Very good value for the price. Fit is not too bad considering I usually have trouble finding stuff to fit my body: 44 chest, 36" sleeve. It's odd how the larger sizes of much outdoor gear is made for fat people rather than tall people. I don't seem to run into many morbidly obese folks climbing mountains or doing backcountry skiing.

Although packable stuffed into it's own pocket, I'd be inclined to use a small stuff sack and throw it into a pack until needed. In any case, it'll pack down pretty small and it is light. The quality is top notch, and when compared to other more expensive 800 fill jackets, it is a great value. With a light-mid base layer, I'd expect this to be comfortable around 0 deg F.
At 145 lb and a 38" chest, I have a size med. which leaves room underneath for a 300 wt pile jacket for well below zero protection. Without the heavy pile, it still snugs up at the hem and doesn't feel baggy.
Very sturdy zippers. interior pockets capable of carrying bottles and food. Seems to be proportioned nicely with a collar that's not gaping and arms sized to be able to reach upwards.

I bought this jacket to keep me warm in the office when the boss turns down the thermostat and so far I am nice and toasty warm.

I love this jacket...it provides exceptional warmth for the weight of the jacket with minimal bulk. It costs less than the Patagonia and Marmot's down quality seems to be a bit better...probably because of the years of making great down bags.
