Description:
Be sure to add this pant to your backpacking check-list before you hit the trail. Mountain Hardwear has redesigned their flagship backpacking pant to meet the demands of days on the trail. Built from a rugged yet soft nylon fabric with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish this pant will put up with miles of trail abuse while keeping you comfortable. From the waist down no detail has been overlooked. A micro-chamois-lining wraps the inside of a smooth waist panel and is secured with a flat integrated adjustable belt for total comfort even with a heavy pack. Inner reinforcement panels at the seat and knees scoff at rock abrasion, a gusseted inseam prevents blown seams, and the zip-off legs (with zippered lower-leg side seams) converts easily to shorts without removing your boots. Seal the pant at the cuff with the draw-cord to keep debris out of your boots and secure trail snacks in your zippered side pocket.
Features:
- UPF rating of 50 protects skin from harsh UV rays
- DWR - water resistant finish prevents moisture from soaking in
- Stow essentials close at hand in the front pockets, two rear flap pockets, or the zippered side stash pocket
- Move moisture away from your body quickly with inner micro-chamois lined waist for superb comfort with heavy packs
- Should it start to warm up, convert to shorts quickly with the zip-off the pant legs
- Keep everything cinched in place, the waistband is complete with belt loops and the drawcord at the leg hem keeps brush out
- Gusseted inseam eliminates uncomfortable and bulky seams through the crotch and optimizes ease of movement
- Semi-fitted for multi-day comfort
