I bought this as a surprise gift for my wife (no more excuses not to get out in the cool fall and nippy winter days now, is there?). She absolutely loves it and wears it almost every day. If its raining or wet outside, she'll layer over it with a light shell. It could almost be the last warm jacket you'll ever buy. Why the men's and not the women's some may ask...well, my wife is partial to red and the lava is a rich deep red and it wasn't offered as a women's color choice.

Okay, so I read all the great reviews on this and gave it a go. I must concur, this is the warmest fleece I have ever owned; warm the instant you put it on. This is warmer than my North Face Denali by far. I have been wearing this and a T-shirt in cold Fall weather and am comfortable. It is cut to fit snug like a layer coat should. People say they run small with long arms, but I ordered my usual Mountain Hardwear large and was fine. I am 6'0, 170lbs, and it fits perfect over just the t-shirt. It would probably be too tight over a sweatshirt, so if you want to wear casual over layers of clothing, order a size up. Hope it holds up. Would not wear in wet, windy weather, however without a shell. Overall, I love this product... warm, warm, warm.
