Just received my jacket, and it's very good! I'm 6'2" and 200 pounds and a 44-inch chest. I plan to use this over other layers during belays, rest stops and around winter camps, etc. so I ordered the XL and it's just perfect. It's a little big when worn over just a sweatshirt, but no complaints - better somewhat loose than too tight. It's warm, very light, and very stuffable. Perfect addition to my winter pack.

Very lightweight, easy packable in stuffsack - included, great collar - no chafed or wet feeling. I wear this jacket everywhere - outside chores, commuting, running, shopping, whatever. It is just what I was looking for and I bought on sale and feel it is a great value for what I paid.

Got this on a whim looking for a lightweight warm jacket to take backpacking in late fall/early winter. On the two trips so far it has more than done its job - lightweight, very compact, and quite warm when the sun goes down.

Excellent athletic fit; I'm 6'0", ~165 lbs, ~41" chest and a large is perfect on me with room for a few thin layers underneath. It's roomy in the chest and shoulders and sleeves are plenty long. The cut of the body is short- don't expect it to cover your butt. Unbeatable warmth to weight ratio- my large weighs 16.8 oz. Definitely not a durable outer shell on it so you wouldn't want to wear it hiking thru brush without a shell over it. Love it.

I picked this jacket up a few seasons ago to use on trips when my down parka was too much and it seems to make it on more and more trips! It weighs less than some fleece jackets, doesn't take up much room in my pack and packs a whole lot of warmth! I've even used it with a half sleeping bag on some summer trips in the mountains.

It has a VERY athletic fit (which I love) it has a good amount of loft without feeling oversized. However, if you have any form of a gut this probably isn't the one for you (see if you can try it on first).

As with any lightweight gear - you need to be careful not to snag it. I haven't had any problems with the shell material but if you're tough on your gear, the MHW SL jacket will probably hold up better to abrasion over time.

Great Jacket! I love MH's products. They fit great. I am 6'3" and weight 180lbs. with arms and legs that are a little longer than the average person. I usually have a hard time finding clothing that is long enough. I have no issue with MH clothing. The fit is slimmer which translates into fitting me perfectly. I use the jacket along with the MH compressor pants mainly for around camp and when I stop on the trail for breaks during winter hikes in the Adirondacks. My last trip was in February in which the temperature did get about 5 degrees F. Kept me very warm and toasty!

This is a great jacket for cold nights around base camp. Light weight, warm, and comfortable. Perfect to keep in your rucksack for bivy gear. Wouldn't reccomend climbing in it due to a thin shell layer to keep the weight down.

This is a great jacket that is super warm. It fits perfect, able to go under a windproof shell or rain jacket. Highly recommend this to anyone who needs a light, warm jacket.

I wear this jacket all winter for casual outings but also used it almost every day to walk my dogs when it is below freezing. It is also my jacket of choice for cragging in cold weather, especially when it's windy.
