This is a well made product. It's even reversible, which was not mentioned in it's description. Very fine soft fleece on the inside. Smooth synthetic texture on the outside. Unless of course you reverse it. You should cut the tags off the bottom if you do.

I find this cut a bit too snug. Surprising since I have other Mountain Hardware products which are not. The collar is technically shaped. Slightly higher in the back than front. From an aesthetic point of view, this causes a slight wrinkle in the back with is so so. I have other similar product from another manufacturer and I like the general looks of theirs better. If I were hanging on a cliff wall, the mountain hardware version would definitely keep me warmer. No leaks from the bottom edge. It is cut long. I'm a professional alpine skier and this would be way too warm to ski in. It would have to be extremely cold to warrant wearing it as a layer. If I were cruising around town on a cold night... okay.

I bought this shirt as a gift to myself for Christmas, from my wife. I've worn it twice in the last week, once hiking and once skiing. Temps both days never reached 35. The hiking was VERY aerobic and I used the Power Stretch as a mid layer over a light wicking long sleeved t-shirt. After warming up for around a mile and a half a pulled my shell off and was very warm for the next 6 miles, elevation from 7 to 5 and back to 7,000 feet. If anything, it's warmer than I bargained for. Quality craftmanship to be sure, and the Power Stretch tights are super too. I bought them after I judged the quality of the Zip T. I'm pleased with the purchases!

This shirt is great! It's lightweight but very warm -- much warmer than I'd expected. My only complaint is that the collar is a little too high to be worn up and completely zipped.

Paired up with the mountain hardwear power stretch suit,this is the best base layer/mid layer I have ever owned.No itch,keeps my skin dry when doing the hard yards and exellent form fitting.I now have 4 sets of this combination and got rid of the rest of my layering cloths.when I go to the mountains all that is carryed is a all weather shell incase the weather turns to custard,I would not be with out them now,I live and work in the mountains and rely on my gear to keep me alive,cotton well kill you,this fabric is amazing,drys so fast even after getting wet and you stay warm like wool but without that itch which wet wool delivers.

I have been using the Power Stretch Zip T under a shell while snowboarding. It keeps me warm, and it keeps me dry, which makes my boarding experience much more enjoyable.

I also have found Mountain Hardwear products to be sturdy and good looking. I'd recommend it to anyone!

I've used this both as a outer piece in the spring and fall for biking and a heavier inner wicking layer when it is really cold (below 10). It seems to pull moisture away and avoid that clammy feeling. I really liked how it was stretch so it did not bind either when active or when part of a multilayer system
