The large was way too small for my frame (I'm 6'0 and 180), so I exchanged it for the XL and found that to be slightly bigger, but the sleeves were way to long. I had to roll them up a couple of times for it to fit properly. Needless to say the product was returned. I love Mountain Hardwear as a brand, but they just got this one way wrong.

I bought it as a pull over for my base layer in cold whether, its warm. However, the sleeves and length are way long the chest and shoulders fit fine. Im 6 foot and 175#'s so a large should be perfect over other clothes just feels large and bulky.

I really like this fleece. the quality is top notch though I'd have preferred a chest pocket instead of an arm pocket. The drawstrings are a nice touch. The neck is a tad tight. The one glaring oversight on the part of the designers is that here is no draft flap behind the zipper.(huh? what were you guys thinking??) On seriously cold days it becomes quite obvious very quickly.

I own two of theses now and wouldn't trade them for any other sweater on the market. I wore one daily for three weeks on a trip to Europe last fall. That trip followed a week long backpack on the Teton Crest Trail where again I wore it at some point everyday. It was the perfect garmet whether I was hiking through canyons, strolling through medieval villages or having dinner at the local pub. I layered Mountain Hardwear's Typhoon Jacket over it when the weather got colder, windier or wetter and the two worked perfectly. Add a wicking t-shirt and you have an incredibly versatile combination for traveling or backpacking. The long zipper, high collar and drawcord at the waist are well thoughout and put this sweater way ahead of the combination. Only drawback is the price... a bit steep. But if you can find them on sale, you can't go wrong.

This is a very nice garmnent with some nice features- has a reasonably-sized arm pocket and drawstrings at the waist. Love it so far.
