After reading other reviews about this sweater that said it runs big for MH, I decided to order an XS (I am 5'4" and 120 lbs.) When I received it, it was fairly tight, and the sleeves were definitely too short, especially if I want to use the thumb holes. I am returning it for a size small. It's definitely a pretty sweater, and soft for wool.

Bought this sweater on sale during the summer, so haven't worn it yet. Therefore, unable to determine whether it will hold up or pill upon first wash. Seems true to size, lightweight, yet warm. Sleeves are long due to thumb hole. I'll probably turn up a cuff on sleeve when I wear it.

I bought the first sweater for cold mornings and ski attire in Montana. Loved the fit and thumb holes work great for layering. Decided to get a second in another color because I enjoy it so much! One is a medium and one is large- both layer well and sleeve length is perfect for tall woman (5'9").

I'm concerned that I have worn the sweater 2 times and there are definite areas of pilling taking place on both sides near my waist. The style of the sweater is a raglan sleeve as an insert of the same material as the sweater, but reversed (inside/out). This insert effect also runs down the sides where the pilling is happening. Don't know if this will happen to the whole sweater, but I would expect better quality for this relatively expensive item.

I'm actually wearing this as I write this. It is 28 deg F and I just shoveled fresh snow. I was warm the whole time and didn't even have a jacket or anything. I saw a friend in it and I looked great, so I went ahead and ordered it in a different color. I love it and the thumb holes!
