Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Hooded Jacket - Men's:

I concur with another reviewer that the jacket's length is a bit too short. If you need extra length, go for the parka. Otherwise, a great jacket - warm, compressible and weather-resistant. Usually only put it on below zero. It seems superior in terms of down leakage versus the NF Nuptse. Also, the MH product has a hood. I own two SL jackets and two Nuptses. Clearly, I prefer the MH product.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Hooded Jacket - Men's:

I was in the market for an extreme cold weather jacket and though I have never tried any Mountain Hardwear gear before I am very happy with this product. The Conduit SL system blocks wind and rain while retaining warmth. I found that there is extra room inside for another layer or a hydration pack if the drawstrings are not tightened all the way. An excellent overall value!

Pros:
Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
Cons:
Torso Too Short
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Mountaineering - in camp belay jacket

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Hooded Jacket - Men's:

I got this jacket as a gift and couldn't be happier. It has plenty of accessories including the napoleon pocket and the internal water bottle pocket. The hood cinches up nice and tight and even has enough room to fit my helmet. The soft fleece pockets are amazing too. All in all, I am very pleased with this jacket. While incredibly warm, it blocks wind and water with the conduit sl fabric and the down in just enough. It is also really lightweight and you'd be surprised at how small you can pack it.

The only regret that I have is that it is a tiny bit too short on the torso length, and although this allows easier access to the harness, that few extra inches could make a big difference when trying to manage thermal conditions on cold peaks.

Like I said though, this is an amazing jacket!
