This jacket pretty much does it all for all but the coldest outings. Comfortable softshell that is also waterproof, athletic fit and a little bit of insulation. Spring and fall days just need a tshirt under it, when the temps drop add a 100 fleece or a monkeyman shirt if it is below zero. The powerstretch cuffs are my favorite part. This is a short jacket, so I wouldn't take it skiing.

I wear the Synchro for a night on the town, and for hiking the Colorado Rockies. Just add a mid weight top and a pair of gloves for winter hiking and you are set. One jacket for just about all seasons. The Synchro is equally at home wherever you may be.

Extremely breathable, durable shell

Spent a week on the rainy Oregon Coast and this jacket held up on the wind and rain. Though it's not totally waterproof this jacket does a great job of keeping you dry - and wind doesn't stand a chance to this shell. All you need is a lightweight or midweight shirt underneath and you are good to go in cold conditions - very warm.
