Never had a problem with this biner. I myself and friends have used this biner to either pull motors or logs and its works great. The fact its used for rescue and climbing rigging its well known used for heavy duty situations.

Problems with screw gate

We have several of these in use at our climbing area. About 30% of them are having issues with the screw gate backing down too far when they are being opened. The gate is then locked closed again but not the way it should be. We have taken the screw collar off of a few and can't locate the problem.
