For mountaineering, caving, or even rescue, PMI's EZ Bend Static rope is a classic all-around cord with an ultra-durable sheath that stands up to rappeling or hauling - basically anything you'd like to tackle for your vertical adventure.

this rope is awesome! i use this rope for top roping and it has never let me down. the only thing { which is not a problem for me} is it is a little hard to clip into., such as my "Black Diamond atc-xp". but it works well on my figure 8. so all in all this is a good rope for the price.
