Comments about Patagonia Alpine Guide Pant - Men's:

Purchased these pants for Mt Orizaba climb. They are the perfect weight (warmth) and are very durable. I got 34 waist and they are right on for sizing. Don't even have to wear a belt because of elastic waist. This is important when wearing climbing harness and pack.

Service & Delivery comments:

I've ordered several times from Mountain Gear and every time service and delivery has been accurate and timely.

Comments about Patagonia Alpine Guide Pant - Men's:

I purchased this pant primarily for skiing but it works great for hiking and climbing also. I picked the Alpiine Guide Pant over the Patagonia Backcountry Guide Pant because 1- It's a bit lighter material and weight, 2- The cuffs are still plenty large enough to fit over large plastic ski boots, and 3- It's more versatile. I was worried it might not be warm enough for cold temperatures but I was plenty comfortable in the teens F while active. If the temp was less, the pant is cut loose enought to wear long underwear. The elastic cuff is small enough that the pant works equally well for X-C touring or relaxed track skiing. If you are looking for a do-it-all outdoor pant (I go home when the rain starts), this one seems to work pretty well.
