...going into my third season with a pair of Nomics. I've probably done at least 160 pitches with them. These are fantastic tools! I did break part of a handle of one, and it was promptly replaced with a new one.

I have climbed on Quarks, Vipers, Cobras, (all with leashless mods) Fusions, Hummingbirds (with the old tube pick) Prophets and owned and primarily climbed on DMM Flys for the past 6 years. The Nomics are the best leashless tool I have come across. The excel on steep terrain and beg for more. They are truly three tools in one with the multiple grips as I am finding out. Choke up to the grip rest and you have a killer low angle ice tool, head all the way to the bottom one and you have a tool that begs for steep ice and mixed roofs. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to go leashless. I have held onto my Flys for more alpine pursuits but the Nomic is my first choice for anything steep.
