Should have bought this adapter years ago. The original battery isn't readily available, but the rechargeable AA battery is available everywhere. The three AA adapter is just as bright as original. I use the headlight for everything: camping, car work, work around the house.

Very functional, needs lots of batteries

Comments about Petzl AA Battery Adapter:

AA batteries do not last more than about 16 hrs of use, but much cheaper than buying the normal batteries.
