Extreme
By Rich MacVerified Reviewer from Louisiana on 12/16/2009
Pros:
Cutting edge climbing, Entertaining, Exciting Clips, Tonsai Beach is a must
Cons:
Produced in 2003
Best Uses:
Nostalgia
Describe Yourself:
Avid Sports Fan
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Vista Cerro Productions First Ascent DVD:

Produced in 2003- thats 6 years behind the curve- nothing new to add to the sport of climbing. However, many faces were featured in "Sharp End"- the raw power of establishing those routes with limited equipment was cutting edge.

Comments about Vista Cerro Productions First Ascent DVD:

This film is a MUST for any serious climber. The film basically talks about what is considered to be the absolute "extreme" in climbing and how the standard of "extreme" is constantly being pushed higher by increasingly more dangerous first assents.
