I was surprised that this shirt kept me so comfortable during a fairly intense snowshoeing hike. I'm sort of new at the sport and wasn't sure exactly how to layer to stay warm but not sweat too much. This shirt was the perfect base layer---I'll be buying more to complete my winter sports wardrobe!

everything we take hiking shoiuld be made of wool... I am truly un-happy with polyprolene or other synthetics
